Women of Reform Judaism Mid-Atlantic region

2020 WRJ MAR Conference: Keynote speaker for the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Region district conference, speaking on resiliency and the need for it in both activism, leadership, and beyond.

Workplace Allyship Training

Northwestern Mutual: Created and led allyship training for my team of 25 people in Cincinnati, Ohio

Out and Equal: Attended Out and Equal 2020

Crooked Media

Merch Analysis: Created a way to analyze and forecast merchandise sales

Listenership Survey: Surveyed listeners across all podcasts and received over 10,000 responses to analyze how podcasts are doing

Capstone: Created a presentation and onboarding material for employees to understand the business functions of Crooked Media past the justice part

Feminist Majority Foundation

National Clinic Access Project: A research project led by FMF to measure the violence that abortion clinics face that is conducted and published every two years.

Trans Student Resource Research: I led a research project focused on what resources college campuses offer for trans students that included a random sample of 75 4-year public universities.

Feminist Campus: FMF’s campus GOTV efforts that interns assist with.

Blogs and Writing: I wrote 4 blog posts about transgender rights and violence and issues while there, including one that highlighted Amiee Stephens, the plaintiff in the Supreme Court Case that ruled that Title VII protected transgender employees.

Community Action project

Through the Women in Leadership and Learning (WILL) program, I have been able to create projects that take my learning and expand it into action and leadership experience. These are the two projects I have completed.

Pride at work/Machon Kaplan Internship - religious action center

I worked at Pride at Work in the summer of 2016 Through the Machon Kaplan internship. The organization itself works with labor unions and the AFL-CIO for equality in the workplace for LGBTQ workers. I learned about the importance of labor unions for minorities as well as how much I hate cubicles. 

HRC Corporate Equality Index: Understanding how the Human Rights Campaign had been doing their Corporate Equality Index

weareorlando.com: After the Massacre in Orlando, FL where 49 Latinx queer people were killed, I was able to help with the website WeAreOrlando, where the vigil times and locations were submitted and posted. I am honored to have been a part of that movement. 

House of Representatives Sit in: I attended the sit in led by John Lewis as a response to the Orlando Shooting where John Lewis held the floor for 25 hours to force Paul Ryan to hold votes on gun control.
